Cancelled IVF

my dr cancelled my ivf says my follicles were 9, 12, 13, 14 (says they stopped growing) and he told me to take provera.

what if I do not take provera at this time is there still a chance I can get pregnant with these follicles?

Thank you gloglo332, yes I will be trying again :) I think the BCP and Lupron suppressed my ovaries..I just read this book called Inconceivable by Julia Indichova was very helpful and hopeful.. Good Luck to you too.. Thanks for the positive, sending it back to you in ten folds :)

Hello there! Sorry to hear you had to cancell your IVF cycle!  Will you be trying again? I hope so! I do not know if the BBT being low is normal, have you asked your Dr.? but with fertility drugs, I know the body changes very much.  I have not checked my BBT.  I have read other posts from woman stating their periods have taken longer to arrive than before, I guess that is why the Dr. give the Provera.  Nonetheless, let's see what happens with me. Good luck dont give up and always be positive!!!!

It appears I have not ovulated. After 11 days on fertility drugs, lupron
I had to stop the drugs and cancel the IVF cycle bc I had only 1 follicle
13mm and 3 under 10..agfter being on BCP for 3 weeks I started the meds..my "period" was on aug 28th..today is the 25th of sept and I still have not ovulated and my BBT is very low..there has been NO rise..is this nornmal? I am nervous bc I dont understand what is happening to my body..has this happened to you? did you see a rise in your temp taking? I think it's good you are listening to your body and not doing Provera..i wonder if the bcp and lupron messed me up..please let me know what your outcome is and also about your bbt..Good Luck I hope you concieve , gives me hope:)

Thank you for your response.  I was taking Lupron then Bravelle and Menopur at the same time.

I did not take the Provera!  I do hope that we will be blessed with a miracle....really hoping that period doesnt show up this month!!!!

just curious - what type of drugs were you on? When i was just on follistim - i was just like you - lots of follies but they weren't growing above a 9. My dr told me to take menapur mid cycle and i got 2 mature follies (this was for IUI tho not IVF). when I did my IVF, i did both follistim and Menopur again from the start and this time i got 12 eggs. My dr told me some women are not compatible with synthetic FSH (follistim), Menapur is a natural FSH (taken from menopausal nuns).
