This 2 week wait is taking forever...

I only have 2 more days until I can draw my blood.  I had my IUI on Dec 23 after a round of prevera (which did nothing) and clomid.  The weird thing is I had a son in June of 09 after IUI/clomid, I still have not had my period and its been 18 months!  Has anyone else not got their period back after having a child? My doc said it would be easier to conceive my second, he was wrong! Hoping for a positive result, this stuff is so darn stressful.

Thanks for all your wishes!  I took a hpt and it was a negative :( I am now having period like camps, and backache.  But still nothing has shown up.  I am still going in to have blood drawn tomorrow.  My first IUI, which I had my son from, I had weird symtoms from the begining, very crampy and burped a lot! This one I have had nothing.  I never had implantation bleeding.  I am wondering why my doc didn't put me on pregesterone, because it was really low when I started this process.  Good luck to all of you on this 2ww.  We will see what tomorrow brings!

This waiting period is really killing me also.
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night in despair thinking of what I will be doing if this does not work.
I am 6dp3dt and my blood test is not until Monday...
I have no symptoms at all and because of this I feel so pessimistic. I wish I could see some implantation bleeding or even a few cramps could ease my mind a bit. :)
Has any of you had any real symptoms?
I wish us all success... imagine how wonderful it will be for the new year to start with a BFP

I know exactly what you mean, I had an IUI took shots for a month had the IUI on Nov. 23 and am two days before I go back to the doctor for my blood work. It's an exsperating experience. I urrently taking a vaginal insert of progesterne to increase the lining of my uterius. I have a daugther 25 from my first marriage and my current husband and I decided that we wanted a child.

I wish you all the best and that your test results are positive.  I haven't experienced the issue with my mentral cycle so I can't comment. I am sure your body will work the process out and in the meantime enjoy your pad/tampon free days! Everything is going to be ok.

Hi......
I'm actually on my first IVF cycle now.  I was blessed with a little girl (shes four now) thru an IUI.  I too have always been irregular.  I think after I had my daughther I was regular for a few months after that and then it started up again with the no periods. The provera works for me. What I normally do is after 3 months if it doesnt come down, I call the doc go get checked then I'm back on the provera. Which *****, but thats how I get by. I did try IUI again and this time it didnt work. So I waited a while before deciding to go with the IVF.  I am currently on my 2ww. Hoping to get a BFP on the 10th when I go for testing. I wish you all the best. Hang in there.  It is very stressful but at least we all have each other to help get through this.... Wishing you all the best..... :)
