Clomid side effects?

Hi ladies, this is my first cycle on Clomid, just finished 50 mg days 5-9 on Saturday.
I have irregular cycles, and don't ovulate on my own until very late in my cycle, if at all. I'm hoping Clomid will work for me!
That being said...I feel like the superbeast the last couple days. I mean, I feel like I'm PMS-ing, and I haven't even ovulated yet! Also, I'm starving and having tons of creamy cm and having headaches like crazy.
Anyone else react this way to the Clomid? Does it get worse with higher doses?

Yeah, Clomid can be nasty stuff. Like Setshae, I got hot flashes. I was also cranky, exhausted and slightly nauseous. It lasts for awhile too. I joked with my husband about Clomid's symptoms and how closely they resembled pregnancy symptoms. Oh well. On a lighter note, i did end up getting pregnant on clomid. The odd thing was is that once the clomid symptoms left my body, the pregnancy ones didnt begin until well after I found out I was pregnant. Ironic.

Hey. I didn't have those side effects from clomid. I took 50 mg days 3-7. The main thing I noticed was hot flashes. I took the pills at night to help with some of the symptoms. Also when ovulation occurred I had horrible cramping and when my cycle finally came (which the clomid made it late) I had horrible PMS. However the clomid did show me ovulating but still no baby. Good luck !
