I have my first appointment with the Fertility Clinic on the 2nd, and i was just wondering if anyone can give me a figure on more or less what the costs is of IUI and the kinds of fertitliy meds they have taken. And what different types of fretility meds are out there i have heard of so many but also heard some can be bad for you. Any info would help alot. Thanks!! :)

I live in Missouri, I dont know how the costs here compare to where you are.  My doctor had me on CLomid, at around $30 a month. I also took a trigger shot which was $30 a month and prometirum, also $30 a month.  I had to have an ultraouns once a month to see how my follicles were growing and that was $275, and if we wanted to do an IUI it was an additional $400.  I hope that helps a little!  Good luck!

First of all when you go to your doctor's don't hesitate to ask him all the questions that are on your mind even though they may seem easy ones. The cost it depends on your area and the clinic. My doctor's office charge $2000 for the cycle + meds + IUI if you deside to do it.The IUi is $400 and the meds if you take clomit is cheaper but if you go on injectiones are a little bit expensive.Depends on what king you'll take and dosage. If you don't have insurance it's not easy to go on this road. I pay everything out of my pocket so i know what it means. . If the meds are good or bad it depends on your organisem and how your body reacts to it. Your doctor will see your condition and give you the best way to treat it. Good luck
