Opinions please

Hi. Looking for thoughts/opinions on this personal choice.

Do you drink while trying and wait for your positive to stop or hold off in the hope of positive results?

Trying to get preg following ovulation over the weekend. So far too early to test. I'm not usually a big drinker and don't normally get out much (working mum ;) but surprisingly this week I have several girls nights including a hens. I don't want ppl to think I'm preg because I'm not drinking... Particularly if this months not it for us, but also don't want to take risks... Urgh!!

Thank you!  Yes that's what I was thinking, I don't want to add to any potential disappointment by getting carried away now but I don't want to risk it either. One is a great compromise and if I just say I'm driving noone will jump to conclusions... Hopefully!

I was thinking about this too. I think it's fine. Many girls out there are drinkng and they don't know yet their pregnant. I wouldn't get way out of hand during the tww

Many women drink before they know they're pregnant and don't have any ill effects. I would probably stay more conservative and only have one drink each night or so just in case you are.
Good Luck!

Personally, I think it's fine to have a drink while in the 2WW. Any potential embryo is pretty much on its own for a good week or so before it implants into the uterine lining anyway. Plus lots of people drink before they find out they're actually pregnant, with no ill effects. Since you are actively TTC, however, I probably wouldn't go too crazy, but I'm sure a drink or two is fine.
