i am doing soy just like you would clomid.cycle days 3-7 80 mg a day for just 5 days.i have a friend that was told to try it like that and the first month trying it she got pregnant, she had been trying over a yr.
Hi,
I haven't tried it but I was interested when I saw your post. I have to admit that I am a bit wary. I was bottle-fed soy as a baby (due to allergies) and am now celiac. There are some studies that link soy to thyroid problems, celiac disease, etc. I am not a vegetarian but due to my limited food choices, I did and still do, consume quite a bit of soy. I recently was told to halt/lessen my consumption unless it is pure soy (miso or soy beans) because it has been linked to infertility (especially the male factor but there is some indication of the female factor too). I absolutely love soy and still eat it but I am really trying to limit my intake. That being said, if there are any benefits ~ I've been eating soy my whole life (3-6 servings/week - not taking the pill form) and ttc almost year without any luck. I would recommend waiting till it was FDA approved or talk to your Dr. about it. Until then eat some miso, carrots and/or yams/sweet potatoes! They are all supposed to be fertility enhancing foods! But maybe someone else will have a different view. Good luck.
has anyone tried soy as clomid?
