Dark Period- desperate to get pregnant-help please

We have been trying to conceive our second child for a year and a half.  We had a miscarriage about 9 months ago and now I just got my period and it is very dark, almost maroon.  Please help me, not sure if this is a sign that something may be wrong with me and that is why we are struggling to conceive.  thank you so much

Thank you for repsonding back to me.  Now it seems that my period is not as dark anymore.  There is a fertility specialist by me and I guess maybe I should make an appointment.  I wan't sure if they would even see me because though we have been trying a year in a half I did get pregnant nine months ago.  Other doctors have told me to be patient and the fact that we did get pregnant shows that there is nothing wrong.  I think I am just getting really desperate now and just want it so bad.  I am just very confused now.

You could look at the post I put out there - Testing for Infertility.  The wonderful ladies on this sight successfully encouraged me to make an appt w/an RE.

We have been trying for our second child for about a year and 1/2 as well. While I don't know the answer to your question, I feel your pain/frustration in trying to get pregnant. My suggestion would be to make an appt with your physician for an exam. That way, you won't have to wonder.
