6 WEEKS PREGO TOMORROW - WHAT TO EXPECT

I finally got my positive beta test last week.  This was my third try at IVF.  June 9th - frozen blastos were transfered.  I finally got the news I have been waiting for my whole life basically - PREGO!!!!

I am going to doctors office tomorrow.  What should I expect?  Ultrasound? heartbeat? I hate not knowing what I am in for lol

Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I am a nervous wreck.

Thanks!

You think you will never see the end of the tunnel - but I only hope and pray for all that we all get to witness that light.

Just came back from doctor.  As I am sitting with my legs on the stirrups, the doctor says "Stefanie, we will most likely not see anything today - possibly just a gestational sac so don't be discouraged"

All of a sudden, she slides my second husband (the ultrasound tool) in  - and her face lit up.  She saw the sac, the yolk.  She said everything is EXACTLY where it should be and looks great.  Heartbeat was not visible yet, but she said we will see it next week.

This seems all too fake for me because I have been wanting to be in this position for the longest time - and FINALLY!!!!!

Thanks for everyones support and prayers and thoughts.  It means more than I can ever describe.

Congratulations that is the best news!! as for what to expect....most dr's will only do blood work, b/c it is very rare to be able to see something at 6 weeks....however, w/ my son, i had my first vu/s at 6 weeks and we did see not only a gestational sac, but a little blob w/ a heart beat!!! I will keep you in my prayers....and please keep us posted!!
