Donor Question
My DH and I agreed that we should do donor embryos next time around if this cycle does not work. Has anyone done this before?

40smama- My beta is Saturday, but I don't want to get my hopes high with this one because I didn't get anything other than two 4 cell embryos.

rghkah - I too had no symptoms after transfer and was totally convinced that the embryo didn't implant. Luckily, I was wrong so try not to get too discouraged at this point. When's your beta?

Thankyou so much Nursiepie. It does make me happy that people are getting results with donor embryos.
I had a Fet on 10/06, but I have a strong feeling it probably won't take. I don't have any symptoms and the embryos that they transfered were only 4 cell. We just don't have the funds anymore to do more ivf cycles. Also, every cycle I have done I only had one 8 cell embryo. My DH and I had a long talk a couple days ago about trying donor embryos.
I don't have ovaries so I had to do donor transfer also. I have an adorable 2 year old son already and pregnant again with donor transfer. It was a great decision for me.
40smama also did donor transfer that resulted in a precious baby. She is pleased with her decision as are all of us donor mommies.

i did 6 IUI all negative, never did IVF with my own eggs, I only had the money to do it once, and the RE felt my own eggs were poor quality. I took no meds because I used donor, but wiht IUI I used gonal F and hcg trigger, how many days post transfer are you and did you take an hcg trigger and how long ago?? I wish you the best
That is terrific!!! Did you only have to go though it once? What kind of medicines did you have to take? My DH and I have gone through 6 iui's and 6 ivf's. I actually test on Sat., but I am not getting my hopes high just because I only had two 4 cell ebryos.
