Due anytime Summer 2012

mhv
Hi ladies.  I know it's kind of early for me, being only 7wks 5days along, to start this, but I wanted to start sharing this journey with others due around the same time as me.

I know many of us (me included) are afraid to put ourselves out there this early, afraid that something might go wrong, but I have known so many of you for you long, that I just couldn't wait any longer to start sharing experiences with you.  I have never been this far along in a pregnancy, and am so sure I am going to have tons of questions.

I am expecting twins, and am still in shock! :)  We have a due date of Aug 9th, but It will probably be more like July 26th, due to it being twins
I feel pretty good most of the time,  but if I don't eat every 2-3 hrs, the babies let me know it!

Just wondering how everyone else is feeling, and wondering if anyone else has questions we can help each other with....

Hugs!!!

Hi Ladies, so much is going on since I have been on last:

mhv, Evelyba79 and Shannon 79- I have not gained a pound this whole pregnancy, in fact by my last OB appointment last Thursday I have lost 2.5 pounds since the beginning of my pregnancy.  Laila'h is almost 2 lbs so the doctor is not concerned.  I was freaking out Thursday because I have been on bed rest I thought for sure I would have gained weight.  My DH and I was making bets in how much we thought I had gained and of course we were both wrong.  I made the nurse weigh me on multiple scales because I could not believe the number when it popped up!

Butterflybabies- I am so happy that you are home and your boys are hanging in there.  All of you are in my prayers.

Plumber- You are amazing!  I could not take all the pain you are going through, my DH says I am a wimp and I agree...lol! I pray you get some relief soon.

As for me, besides being bored to death on bed rest I really can't complain.  I had received my glucose test results last thursday and I do not have Geststational diabetes, my number was 53 and the soctor said that was 20 points under what they would consider normal :-) I was very happy to get that kind of news.  As I said above I lost 2.5 lbs but Laila'h is gaining so that was good news. The doctor had a hard time getting her heart rate so she did a sonogram, I didn't mind because I got to she my little angel :-) She had arm above her head and she was making a fist, it was too cute.  Her heart rate was 142 and she is moving a lot, I love feeling her and just spening that time rubbing my belly and talking to her.  I have my next OB appointment tomorrow and my next u/s scan on Thursday.  So far no more cramps and I feel good.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and your babies continue to grow big and strong.

Lots of hugs,

Phyllis

Hi ladies, I hope you and your babies are well and in good health.
As for me, we have moved into our new house yesterday and I'm
Officially exhausted, tired, stressed and moody. Although I haven't done too much with packing buy I'm upset that I am not able to help out much. I am suffering from very sorry back and sore ligament pain and also bad heart burn - seams to be getting worse- I have only been drinking milk, haven't bought anything from the Chemist.

On another note, if all goes well I'll be on maternity leave from 13 July which is less than a month, I'm super excited and can't wait. I will hopefully be on leave between 6 months and a year and then I'll only go back part-time.

Hugs and kisses to all xoxo

plumber43:

Let me tell you: you are soooooooo brave!!! My pain tolerance is very low, so I don't know how I would handle that pain... Hope you will get at least some relief very soon! xoxo

mhv:

Oh, yeah, 6 pound baby is my dream! But I kind of suspect that Jacob will get bigger than that - his biological mom is tall for a woman...;-)
I will post new pics tonight. xoxo

butterflybabies:

Most of the weight is in my belly and boobs but I have noticed that my arms, back and thighs are getting puffy, too;-)
I love the names you picked!!! So European!
I pray that your boys will hang in there until at least 34 weeks! xoxo

Seems like the 3rd tri has been rough on a lot of us!

Mhv- your babies are growing and gaining beautifully. One of my friends just had her twin boys at 34wks and both babies were over 6 1/2 lbs! I think that's big for twins at 34wks lol.

Plumber- glad to hear Ella is doing good and I'm thinking of you always.

Evelyn- I have my 4-d scan next Friday to. Can't wait to see my babies and pics of yours!

Shannon- I'm sure you'll be ok if your baby is bigger.

Marietta- sorry your Braxton hicks are so painful, your so close I can't wait to see pics of your little girl when she gets here!

Juana-I've gained 40lbs so far and I see you've gained around 30 but from your pics you look like its all belly.

As for me I'm entering 28wks 3rd trimester! Yay!! My boys are being good for now. Hoping they stay quiet . I've been feeling good these past couple days. By good I mean no contractions. I'm still pretty uncomfortable, and my boys are getting stronger cause when they kick me now it hurts sometimes. I have my next 4-d scan next Friday so I can't wait to see how much they weigh now. And I see my ob that day to. Right now the goal is to get to 30wks, after that we will work on getting to an additional week ect. As for now I have to have a C-section cause there's a blood vessel next to my cervix that has barely moved. They will keep checking it at my scans so hopefully it moves then I can try a vaginal birth. Also my doc said if I have a c-section it will be very bloody because baby A's placenta is right where he needs to cut so he would have to cut through it to get to the babies. But I'm not going to worry about it it is what it is. On another note dh and I have finally decided on names. Well we knew one name but couldn't decide on the other. So our boys will be Aleksandar and Maksim. So Aleks and Maks!

Thanks Mel, I have good days and really bad days when I just want to give up, the good news is I don't have Geststational diabetes so I can have cake for my birthday! I'm trying to think about my Ella do that gives me hope, I call my urologist and Ob at least once a week to cry and ask if there's anything else they can do for me and they say "NO"! That makes me feel
Better!
Thanks for listening!
