Due anytime Summer 2012

Hi ladies.  I know it's kind of early for me, being only 7wks 5days along, to start this, but I wanted to start sharing this journey with others due around the same time as me.

I know many of us (me included) are afraid to put ourselves out there this early, afraid that something might go wrong, but I have known so many of you for you long, that I just couldn't wait any longer to start sharing experiences with you.  I have never been this far along in a pregnancy, and am so sure I am going to have tons of questions.

I am expecting twins, and am still in shock! :)  We have a due date of Aug 9th, but It will probably be more like July 26th, due to it being twins
I feel pretty good most of the time,  but if I don't eat every 2-3 hrs, the babies let me know it!

Just wondering how everyone else is feeling, and wondering if anyone else has questions we can help each other with....

mhv - Those babies are doing great!! Their weight is awesome! I'm not gaining weight either. I've only gained 11 pounds so far, and I think a good portion of that is baby.

As for me, I had my prenatal appointment yesterday. Everything looks great. Still measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. My doctor is pretty sure I'm going to have a bigger baby this time around. My son weighed 7lbs 3 oz at birth. I'm afraid of anything bigger then that because I'm so short. I posted a new journal about my prenatal appointment.

hayley - How are you making out with the iron pills? Any better?

Marietta - I have asthma too, and it s ucks. Mine hasn't been too bad yet, but I'm waiting for it to kick in. Hope you feel better soon.

Wow, you might not be gaining, but those twins are doing really well!!  What great weights!!!

I don't think I'll be getting on MH much so just want to wish everyone good health in their 3rd trimesters!  I've been having really painful Braxton Hicks since last night, especially in my lower back.  At one point, I was thinking it might actually be the real thing!  They faded for a couple of hours today but are back again & pretty intense.  I'm hoping things get moving by next week!!!

im glad you and the babies are doing well. Time certainly flys. Enjoy the last few weeks with your hubby before your buddles of joy arrive.
And yes the iron tablets are not great, makes me feel a bit funny.

Wanted to update on me. :)

I am 31 weeks tomorrow.  I went to the doctor on this past Monday, both babies are still breech.  I am afraid they are going to get to big to turn soon.  I would really like the chance at a vaginal delivery, but don't know if that is in the cards.

Baby A now weighs 3lbs 15oz's and Baby B weighs 3lbs 11 oz's.  I on the other hand, am struggling to gain.  I have gained only 4 lbs in the past 6 weeks.  The doctor doesn't seem worried, but boy, it sure does take all of my energy out of me!!!

My cervix is still hanging in there, so that is awesome news!!!  

We ordered our carpet, and it should be installed in the next 12-14 days.... I hope! lol!  cutting it close!!!

Marietta- Sorry to hear about your scare!  So glad you lil girl is just fine :)
Better safe then sorry!!!

Butterfly- We are thinking of you and the boys! Update us when you can!

Sisi- Glad Mason is doing well :)  and so happy you had a great shower! :)

Hayley- I am feeling a little "weird" from the iron pills too.  Hope you start to feel better soon!
