I think it varies a little for everyone, but in my case I felt fine-- I just had some cramping for a few days. The cramps were probably the worst the first day, but it was nothing unbearable. Basically, I just stayed in bed for a few days and rested. Honestly, I thought the transfer was more uncomfortable than the retrieval :) Good luck!
