Femara ladies

I know there's a few of us on Femara this cycle. I think quite a few on round 2. I just finished my last pill this am, YAY! I'm doing 5mg cd2-6. So far, really good. No s/e like Clomid for sure. I o'd very late on it last cycle, but think it was residual effects from the cyst. I'm feeling good about this round. Anyone else have any good/bad to throw in on Femara? Anyone else gearing up for opking? I am so excited. Cd1-6 went by really fast. It won't be long until we are all back in tww!

Hey guys--I got PG my first Femara cycle, 5mgs cd 3-7, along with 75IU Follistim injections cd5-9. I tried Clomid for 2 cycles prior, and did ovulate, but only one follie. I had 6 follies on Femara, and am now almost 14 weeks PG with triplets. We did do IUI that cycle, but my DH missed the sample cup so we only had like 1 million sperm to work with. We backed it up with BD, and I believe that is what did it. Good Luck to all of you, and maybe ask about adding Follistim if Femara alone doesn't do the trick after 3 or so cycles.

Hi everyone! I just got back from my sonogram and I have to follies (both on the right side): 18 mm and 18.5 mm. My lining is 9.5. My RE said to take the trigger tonight at 9 p.m. and then BD tomorrow night and the two following days. Does that sound like a good plan to you guys? I was almost wondering if it would be better to wait until tomorrow, so the follicles could get a little bigger first, but I've never had a trigger before, so I really don't know. Any ideas?

G_S: I wonder if your slow progress could have something to do with the fact that you have a more follicles this time. I'm not really sure, but I had two, and I always ovulate on day 12 or 13. Well, here I am on day 13, and I still haven't had a positive OPK. As far as I know, I've never had more than one follicle before, so I'm wondering if this could be delaying my ovulation a bit...or it could just be femara. Not really sure...

bny:  Best of luck to you when you do decide to test! I hope this is your month, so you won't have to worry about IVF :-)

Tina: What's going on with you? Will you be having a sonogram to check your follicles anytime soon, or are you just using OPKs?

Great that your RE is giving you a trigger at 18mm....mine wants to see atleast 22mm before a trigger shot...maybe coz my estrogen was only 44. But u might be right...maybe coz there are more follis it is taking longer for them to mature.
I'll know for sure when I go in for my sonogram tomoroow on CD17....hoping the follis have growns and also the lining...it was just 6 on CD13

Good luck to yall!!!!  Heather - two good follies, thats great news! its nice that the femara doesnt'  make CM nonexisistent! in fact i had better CM while on femara, so hopefully youll get your BFP this month! and hopefully everyone will!!!
  I feel like we need a bunch of BFP's, i feel like its been a while!   I tested this morning (11dpiui - and of course BFN) i'm sure it will stay a BFN all the way till friday : (    ugh.. just made me feel dumb for even thinking it was a possibility!   Dh went to the Dr this week, there isn't anything we can do about the poor morph.. so even his dr recommended IVF with ICSI.. so looks like thats the road we'll be heading down! The only symptom i've had this month thats different than any other month is sharp twinges/pulling sensations low in my pelvis... started yesterday really strong for about 10 hours and now on and off.. but i'm sure its that cyst leaking or doing something!   ugh! I hate seeing BFN's!!!!
