Femara

My husband and I have been ttc for 7 years we have done clomid but I was not responding with it. We have done the injections with nothing. My next cycle which should be coming up here soon weather on my own or with Provera which I am suppose to start tomorrow if my cycle does not start today we are going to try Femara. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting pregnant on it? I am really hoping I respond with this. My Gyno told me that I should have a better shot with this then with anything else I have tried I really hope he is right. He told me that I am only the 3rd woman in this area to be put on Femara so it is still new to this area. We are hoping for a positive out come.

We have been to an RE about 4 years ago. We took 4 years off of trying anything after that did not work for us. We were referred to the DR that I am seeing now. He did a cycle of Clomid with me and I did not respond so he is moving me to Femara he said that He will do 3 cycles of the Femara with me with Ultrasounds regularly and if it does not work then he will send me back to the RE and request I go straight IVF because nothing else has worked

I agree with Jenny that you should go with an RE.  But as for the femara, yes I have had success with it.  I got pregnant on my second cycle on it.  I also did a trigger shot and IUI.  I am 15 weeks pregnant.  Prior to that I had tried clomid for a long time (longer than I should have been on it) with no success.  So it does work!  I hope it works for you!

If you are going to an GYN  you better change it to an Re. They are gonna follow you more carefully and are much more experts on fertility. Good luck
