First IUI

Hi All, im new here and have been reading through the posts and the stories, they certainly make me cry as well as giving me hope...i know i haven't gone through as much as everyone here, i only had the first iui 7 days ago and it has been the longest week, and it will be the another looong week next week before i go for pregnancy test. so far i have not felt anything different, cramps do come on and off but not sure whether that is related at all. boobs were sensitive at times, right one only, and now im feeling ok, i.e no symptoms at all....which worries me....
i am tempted to do a home pregnancy test next week but not sure when the earliest i can take it....any suggestions?
also, how many iuis cycles can you do? any side effects? sorry im totally new at this and was hoping i could learn from you all....

hi there. did you take any meds? i would count the day after the IUI as your ovulation day. and if you buy a good test, you can test 12DPO/13DPIUI. as far as i know there is no limit to the # of IUIs you can do, only if your run out of $$ or insurance coverage. i have had about 5. two of them worked but i miscarried. don't let my bad luck influence you though :) good luck.
