Follies after Femara question

I took Femara cd 2-6 and did u/s today, cd10.  I think doc said she saw 3 follicles total, 16mm, 13 and 8(?); 4th one not open.  She said that's fine but doesn't think I will ovulate until Friday or Saturday (cd 14 or 15).  And no need to use OPKs until Wednesday.

My DH and I started BD this am, but now think we can wait again until Wednesday.  She said once I see any color on the OPK test line that we should BD every other day.  I still think we should BD the day of the actual positive and the day after.

I usually see a positive on cd 13 or 14 (sometimes 15), but thought Femara would make it earlier.  At the follies present size, will this just happen as usual?

For me I usually O somewhere between CD 13 or CD17. With Femara..I Oed on CD15 ... so it didn't O earlier that usual. But of course my Femara doses were from CD 4 to 8.
Ur follies should grow 1-2mm per/day... so I would surely start OPKing Wednesday.
If the sperm count is not an issue for u.. go for it everyday..esp O day and day post O. If it a problem.. I would recommend every other day.

Good luck.

I took Femera last cycle and I got 3 huge follicles (all three around 29mm).  usually when I took clomid or femera, i ovulated late.  usually on CD15.  I checked OPK start on CD 13 - CD17 and BD when I saw OPK+. last cycle I did IUI right on CD 13 and nothing happen.  I belive I ovulated on CD15 or CD16 so when did IUI to early, but the time I ovulated, the sperms already DEAD.... :-(

This cycle I am off medicine.  No clomid or Femera or any kind of meds.  I tried naturally and aim for the day I ovulated.  I am keep hoping for miracle happen, but still I dare not to hope becuase I been hoped for many cycles.

Good luck to you.  Hopefully everything go well for you.

Take care
