I had Laproscopy 5 months before I got pregnant and I am now 22 wks along. We had tried for almost 2 yrs also and I am convinced it was the procedure that gave us our BFP!! As for the procedure it itself was not painful because they put you out but afterwards due to removal of lots of endo I was in pain. My chest did hurt like they said it would and it helped to sit/sleep in a rocking chair and rock. Try to take it easy for the next 2/3 wks after the procedure! Hope this info helped. Pls msg me if you have anymore questions.

What is your lap for? Do you have endometriosis? That was the only reason they gave for my fertility issues. We had done all the tests (all normal) and were days away from starting fertility meds when we found out. Good luck to you!

I'm not really sure, I would check with your dr.  I know I have to wait about 3 months at least to ttc again.  Thankfully, I'm almost there.  I just pray it works.  I hope you're feeling better day by day. Joann

Glad all went well. I think I was advised to wait one cycle but I would call and ask the dr. I think it depends on what they did during the surgery. Good luck and keep us posted!
