Has anyone been really moody in their 2ww?

I took 10 letrozole pills on May 2nd and then the HCG shot on the 12th and I have been really moody and emotional since. I've taken clomid before and expected it but they told me these would have no side effects. This is my first time doing the whole fertility process after having surgery for endometriosis. Am I just psyching myself out or has anyone else experienced bad mood swings after the shot or pills?

I also had cramps during my 2ww almost like ovulation pain but well after the IUI.  No I didn't have to take birth control, I can't I had a mass (precancerous) in my breast in 2006 so no birth control for me ever again!  Birth control is really high in estrogen so if you are high risk for breast cancer it significantly increases that risk.  Apparently so does clomid my doctor didn't tell me that, I found out after 5 rounds of clomid and two more doctor changes,  I was on bc before 2006 and I agree it made me very crazy.  hopefully your cramps are a good sign.  I had ovarian drilling in december and now have bands around my ovaries I think that's why i get cramps during my 2ww, maybe your surgery is a contributing factor for that too.

I've had nausea also and I've been having cramping but slighly different from AF pain. I've been convinced it worked this time but then I get scared to be so certain because I've been so disappointed so many times before. Did they make you take BC prior to your IUI? That also makes me crazy. lol

Hi we are starting our fourth IUI this cycle and I hate the HCG shot!!  horrible mood swings, sore boobs, bloated belly oh and occasional nausea this last round.  So everything that can make you think your pregnant!!  So to answer your question yes I am normally moody and emotional during the 2ww, besides the hormones i'm sure the stress of ttc plays a big part in that too.
