Hi there!

This is the first time i am posting a question in this forum. I will be going into my first IVF cycle so I am very scared. Can anyone plz tell me what are the chances of abortion during IVF and what are the side effects? Also, after a failed IVF cycle or an abortion.........when can someone try out for the next cycle of IVF? Does she has to wait for a year or so or only a few months. U see i am really very scared and plz plz help me out and pray for me that my first cycle works out for me. Thanks.

In another 2 months or so. Thank you for ur support and information on IVF. I was pretty scared. I just hope that my first IVF cycle becomes successful

Welcome and wanted to let you knwo that you are in my prayers that your first IVF  will work and then 9 months later you'll be holding a little one in your arms!!!   i believe the chances for miscarriage are about the same for an IVF cycle and a "regular old fashioned concieved" pregnancy which depends on age and other factors.... i believe that you can start another IVF cycle only a month or two later after a failed one, a lot of people try to have frozen ones and do a frozen cycle pretty soon after.. I hope that you dont' have to think about that though! : ) . this is a great resource and support group while going through fertilty treatments/trying etc.. so let us know if you have any questions or need anything at all! when do you start your stims for your first cycle??
