Hot Flashes

Round 1 of 50mg Clomid days 3-7 and I had sever hot flashes. every couple of hours around the clock. 2nd round of Clomid 100mg, days 3-7 easy round, no side effects. 3rd round of Clomid 100mg and my Hot Flashes are out of control! I literally break out in sweats every hour on the hour and this happens all night while I am sleeping. Does anyone else have bad hot flashes from Clomid? Does it go away?

Had hot flashes and mood swings. It works by making your body think u are starting menopause. Then your ovaries go crazy making follicles to keep you fertile/ young as long as possible to fight it off. Good luck.

I also experienced the terrible hot flashes while taking clomid.  The good news is they only last while you are on clomid.  If they get too much for you, you can asked to be switched to Femara which is comparable to Clomid.
Best of luck!

Mine hot flashes did not go away...I am still having it, especialy at nigt, all sweat...
And clomid did not work for me - 4 cycles, 2times 50 mg and 2 times 100mg. I went to a specialist - now preparing for iui with injectibles. I hope it will work this time.
Good luck to you!

I only took 25 mg for 2 cycles and at first I didn't have any side effects. My second round I did experience some hot flashes although not severe so I can imagine with 100mg and on your 3rd round, they could be quite bad. I'm sure it's normal.
