Uterine Septum Removal

I need to have a uterine septum removed. Does this need to happen on a certain cycle day or can the doctor remove it at any time?

I actually just had this procedure about a week ago. I was on bc the past month, but stopped taking bc this cycle. We are trying again this month before IVF in April. I'm fine and had little pain after the procedure. Good luck.

Thanks for the response. What happened after the surgery? Did you have to wait a month or two before you could start trying again, or were you able to try again right away? Thanks again.

when my RE talked about it, he said that typically he prefers for patients to be on the birth control pill for a couple of weeks (starting around the time of their period) so that the lining will be thin for the surgery.. GOOD LUCK!
