Im new to medhelp, i came here in hope of some support and advice. I've tried a few other forum sites throughout my ttcing, but i think this one is the most informative and supportive. Im 19, and have low FSH. i've been TTC for 3years.
Im looking to chat to people who are going through treatments, have babies and are ttc for another, young mums, experianced mums, and just generally the lovely friendly bunch that you are. :)

I think you will probably have to do IUI before the doctor will allow you to do IVF, unless there is a serious reason to go straight to IVF.  Do you have unexplained fertility?  Do you have PCOS?  Do you have regular cycles?  Are you married?  You are young so you do have a lot of time to try naturally before you start any kind of treatement.  I am about to do IVF, but IUI is so much easier and less invasive.  MY insurance runs out in October so that is why I am doing IVF one last time.  Where are you from?

Im not doing any treatments yet. due to my age its hard to find a doctor that will allow IVF.  I havent gone through what treatment would suit me best yet with my new doctor, but i will keep you updated when i do. :) im hoping for IVF as its a win or lose treatment, rather then being on a medication and playing a waiting game over months and years like i have been. but i have to be referred for IVF and that can take years where i live as the waiting list is huge.

Welcome to this forum... Yes you are right... this forum is very supportive.  I joined this forum since 2007 and all ladies in here support me and motive me not to give up... I hope you will find what you are looking for in this forum... Do not hestitate to ask... I will try to motivate you as much as I can...

Welcome!!  I also think Medhelp is the most supportive forum I have found:)  I will be doing my 4th IVF cycle in July and have gone through several IUIs also.  I have one 2 year old son who was conceived through IUI.  Are you doing treatments?
