I'm taking clomid and metformin, and am late for my period, but have a negative test result.

I have been taking clomid and metformin for 3 months now.  It's made my periods regular.  But now I am 4 days late.  I took a test, and it came out negative.  Could I still be pregnant?  Is anyone else in this situation?

I feel like I'm hungrier more, (my stomache growls often, even 20 minutes after eating), I've had minor cramps, pimples, when I normally don't.  Is this all in my head?  We've been trying to conceive for over 3 years, so I'm definitely stressed out about this.  HELP!

I have been TTC for over a year now. I had a tumour removed off my uterus, i have PCOS,
my doctor has me on provera to bring on a period and then metformin and clomid. I am sooooo frustrated as I am creeping up in age and I am ready now for a family. OPKs always say negative, but when I do a calculation from when my last period started, I should be ovulating. Any advice, or or words of encouragement?

They say that you should wait until 1 week after your missed period before taking a pregnancy test.  I know it is hard, but try not to over think it.  In the mean time, take care of yourself as if you are pregnant.  If you've gone more than two weeks and still haven't gotten your period, take one more test then call the doc.  I used metformin and clomid, but also had to use provera to induce my period.  The two week wait was the longest wait of my life!

as a sufferer from polycystic ovaries i also took clomid and metformin to help me concieve, somtimes you can be late from your period and will be given pills to start a  bleed to get you ready all over again to try the next month.ask your specialist advise and dont give up as i was trying for a baby for 5years but when i started taking clomid and metformin i got caught in the 6th month .the key is not to think about it so much good luck
