Infertility and FSH Level

I had my FSH levels tested twice (came in at 9 both times).  Is it unlikely I would respond to treatment such as clomid or other ovulation induction medications?  Any stories out there of successfully achieving pregnancy either naturally or with medication to enhance fertility (without having to pursue more aggressive measures such as IUI or IVF)?

Thank you for your response...encouraged to hear that my number isn't terrible.  I am sorry to hear about your loss and also appreciate the recommendation of acupuncture (something I have been considered, but not sure about!)  Best of luck to you in the journey as well.

My RE will treat anyone w/ an FSH under 15 and says that anything under 10 is good.  I tested at 9.5 the first time and was able to conceive naturally.  The pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks due to a septum in my uterus but the fetus was normal ( I had the remains tested) so it is definitely possible to get pregnant w/ an FSH of 9.
I've also used fertility drugs and responded very well (lots of follicles).
Good luck!
PS I do acupunture to keep my FSH levels stable as long as I can
