travel at week 4

Hi there,
I am 38, with 2 previous miscarriages (naturally conceived), and have no baby yet.
After a few failed IUI, I went thru one IVF cycle, and did frozen embryo transfer on July 26th, and blood test is scheduled for tomorrow, Aug 7. However, I was having some symptoms (bloated, nauseated, having to go to bathroom in the middle of the night, craving for carb...), so I did HPT yesterday.  And although the second line is very faint and thin, I think it is positive. (or isn't it?)
Of course, I am happy, excited, cautious, and somewhat worried too. (if I lose it later...)
Anyway, I planned to visit Boston for this weekend (I am in NYC) with my hubby, and some of my friends are telling me that I probably should just stay home. Since it's not that far (Boston-New York, 4-5 hr drive), and since my hubby will be driving, I thought it won't be a big deal. Just sitting in a car won't hurt, no?
Please share your opinion with me.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Yes, I gave some thoughts, and decided not to travel.
I am just hoping that this time, everything works well for me.
Great that you are in second trimester!
Good luck (for me too!) and thanks!

It's a personal choice... But if it's me.. i would stay home just in case... Since you have tried to conceive so many times.. why not be careful with this one...

driving in a car won't hurt, but when it's for so long period of time and you might get tired... Go with your instinct...

I bought 2 tickets to California end of June... I believe I was 8 weeks pregnant.. somehow my guts told me not to go...  I cancelled the trip... of course I was kinda sad, but I am happy I make a right decision..

i am 17 weeks now and after my first trimester... i feel more safe to travel.. I am going travel to Chicago next Friday.... of course we will drive....

Good luck and if you decide to travel.. just be careful...
