Is All Lost. . .Sad, Sad, Sad, Sad Today

I am so sad today.  I tested last night and got a neg.  I know it's still early though, but I have no symptoms at all anymore.  Not even my breast are tender anymore.  My morning temps have been steady at 97.5 or 97.7 which I have read is normal.  If preggers it would be higher, right like 98.1 or something higher.  But as I am writing I feel a little pain in my left ovary.  But today is 10dpiui.  I am starting to question everything.  If I had the injection on 10/18 in the am, do I count my days by the trigger shot which was given Thursday, 10/16?  And is this 10dpiui?  I'm I counting correctly?  I'm so confused now.

Also, I am so happy to have you all to talk to.  This type of talking stresses my husband out.  His motto is don't worry just let stuff happen.  But we have been trying for 10 years to let stuff happen and only one preggers which ended in a miscarrage five weeks in.  And my Doctor keeps giving me the same combination.  I ahve done a lot of research and I read most nights all the books about infertility.  there are so many combination we could try before in-vitro.  Why do you suppose we keep trying the same protocol?  We either do clomid 50 or 100.  Or we do injections of follistim with a trigger shot for IUI.  And he only does IUI one morning.  I have been reading that you guys do two mornings of IUI.  He told me that an extra morning would be 345.99 which would push the cost up to $1800 close to $1900.
And no offense but it hurts to get on a infertility site and hear a post like the one the fron 41yr woman old posted about her and her boytoy who oops got pregnant!!!  Ughhhhhhh.  It inferiates me.  No offense just wish they couldn't wonder in like that post stuff that's hurtful.  My husband and I pray, we work, we are ready, we are friends, we could provide a good home for our child.  We just don't have the money for In-Vitro.  It would cost 10,000 to 19,000 and it's not guaranteed.
Sad Sad Sad from Tennessee.

I am sorry that you are feeling down, but please keep your spirits up since you could be pregnant right now and not know it.  It was too early to take the test and get an accurate result.  I got a negative at 10dpiui, got a negative, and then tested positive on 12dpiui.  If you take it early, you could take it first thing in the morning.  Think positively.  I am 10dpiui today too so we are in this together.  I am having some symptoms but they could be PMS symptoms as well.  We just won't know until two weeks after.  Try to feel better.

Oh honey we all know the frusteration!  :( I waited 5 yrs for some relief of the infertility pain. I just wanted to say 10dpiui is WAY too early to jump to conclusions. Trust me I know  ;)
Good luck to you dear, try to hold out till 14dpiui to even think about testing, I know some women get positive really early, but others of us don't, I was 17dpo. So keep your chin up, I hope you are blessed soon! ((HUGS))

First of all thanks 35MomOfBoys and Heather5.  You all are the greatest and I appreciate your support and I will be here for you when and if you should me.  You have no idea how much your words mean to me.  I feel like I just pick a million new sisters in here.  Big sisters and baby sisters and it feels great.  It keeps me going.  Much babydust to you.  May God bless you with the desires of your hearts.

Kjbandme - It's not your fault.  You are right we all are where we are b/c that's where we are.  It's just frustrating to read you say you don't think you want to keep a baby and every one in here is trying desperately hard to become mothers.  The things that we go through mentally, PHYSICALLY and emotionally are not to be taken lightly.  and I guess that's why you are not supposed to be in here.  I'm sure there is a discussion room out there for your issue.   I hope you get every thing worked out, I honestly do.  But there has to be a site for pregnant women who do not want to be pregnant.  I apologize for the hurtful words in the other posting, Lord knows I don't need the bad kharma.  I need to promote positive energies.  Good Luck to you, I hope you find the guidance and direction you are seeking.  But I would suggest you pay closer attention to what you are posting and who your audience is in an effort to reduce pain.

Hi, this is the 41 year old pregnant woman who oops got pregnant with her boy toy... and I am very sorry and apologized on this forum and I here again, apologize to you and everyone. I understand why you would be angry. I wasn't thinking straight about which forum was for what (this is my first time at this) and I'm sorry, I made a mistake. I honestly wasn't trying to hurt anyone.  I'm also sorry to hear about your recent news.  I guess it would be a good time to remember that we are all suffering in our own individual ways particular to our own situation. Isn't it funny I wish I had what you have, a husband who was my friend, and you wish you had what I had, a pregnancy yet we are both unhappy and sad in our own ways. Maybe there is something to acceptance here, but I don't want to **** anyone off again, just thinking a lot these days about just WHY things happen hardly ever the way we want them to... but I have a feeling that eventually we'll both get our wish, just maybe not exactly how or when we wanted it.  Here's hoping for both us... sending you lots of healing and hope.

I'm sorry you're feeling so down right now. This whole TTC thing can be pretty frustrating, so I can totally relate. I've tried femara for four months, and then last month, my RE added three menopur shots as well. I did not get pregnant, but got a big ol' cyst from it, so this month no meds. I still had a mature follicle and did an IUI, but I'm pretty sure this month is a BFN. I didn't even get tender BBs after ovulation, which I always do (meds or no meds). So my RE wants me to try two more months of femara/menpur before having the big IVF conversation...

As for the IUIs, my new RE prefers to do just one, well-timed IUI, as opposed to two. While the place I used to go to would do two. Neither has worked for me so far (although I've gotten pregnant twice on my own, which both ended in miscarriages). I'm not really sure what's better, but when you use a trigger, I think most doctors agree that the IUI is best timed about 36 hours after the shot...or sometimes 24 hours, if the shot has to be given during the day.

Oh, and I would use dpiui instead of dptrigger. So the day you had your IUI would be day 0, then the following day would be 1 dpiui and so on.

Best of luck to you! I hope you get your BFP real soon!

Aww i am sorry you are feeling frustrated.  Just hang in there, maybe ask your doctor for a more aggressive treatment plan.  That's what I did because of my age.  My hubby isn't as geared up for it as I am.  But we can't afford IVF either so we get aggressive every month with clomid and IUI, then after this we'll eventually add in the injectibles.  The doctor seems to think we'll get there eventually and tells me each month that we up our meds, we get a little bit closer.

I hope this helps and offers some encouragement.  Hang in there and feel better, Dear.

I meant 41 year old woman.  The words were not in order.  I am not knocking her age at all.  I'll soon be in my 40's.  It just the situation . .  .I found it hurtful in here.  I have grown accustomed to being able to relate to everyone in here.  Like a support group of some sort.
