Hi everyone!  Happy New Year!!!!  So far the year has started out great for all of us and I pray that this feeling doesn't go away!!!

Maria, Anya, and Eternidad, I'm SO happy your appts went well!!!  I expected nothing less!  :)  Eternidad, that 3d u/s sounds awesome! My doctors office has one too but I won't get to have another u/s until week 17.  We just heard the heartbeat again via doppler yesterday.  I wish I could record it.  I just love that sound!

aweeonetolove, have a great time at your retreat! Your 1st trimester is almost over!

Maria - Oh, how cool, you heard your baby's heart!!! Isn't great?! I hear it every day with home doppler and it feels awesome! I moved my next OB appt to 15 weeks, so that my NEXT appt will be with u/s to find out sex of the baby at 19-20 weeks...anyway, I won't see my baby on u/s until 19-20 weeks :( So I have to be patient :)

Eternidad- how cool, you saw your baby on 3d? I didn't have that, mine was plain 2D...
Im glad that we all are doing great!!!
I hope to start to show soon cuz so far I am the same as 3 weeks ago :(
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everybody and see you next year!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to be 16 weeks because then I might start feel the baby :)

Happy New Year Everyone!  Sorry I haven't been posting regularly.  The holidays are really busy work-wise for me because the Professors are scrambling to get their marks in and to have their courses prepared for next week which means a lot of work for me.  I'm lying low for New Years this year and just having a few friends over.   Then I'm going away for a business retreat for the weekend so I won't be in touch until next week. I hope all of you have the loveliest of New Years and celebrate 2009 knowing that you are officially out (or almost) of your first trimester!!!  (I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow so I've got one more week to go.)  Best of Holidays to you all!!

Maria, congratulations on an excellent OB appointment. It must be so exciting to hear your wee one's heart beating.  And that is so amazing! Can you believe that you'll be in your 18th week in just a few weeks!!!  Are you going to find out the sex of your baby as well?

Anya- That is great news about your ultrasound. I know you've had a scary journey with your hematoma but your little one is doing just fine.  Try not to worry about your weight or not showing yet.  I have a friend who barely looks pregnant and she is five months along.  Seriously, barely pregnant, still wearing her own clothes, five months along.  Every woman is different.  Pretty soon you'll be gaining weight so fast you'll want it to slow down.  Just try to enjoy the health of your little one.

Zuz, I hope your appointment goes well and I can't wait to hear about it.  The best of luck!

Dreamgirl- As Maria said, try not to worry about your little one.  Your baby passed it's ultrasound test and while I'm sure you would have loved to see it moving, the Dr.'s think it is doing perfectly well and that is what is most important.  When we had our ultrasound, our little one wasn't moving a stitch.  It was just hanging out, sleeping or something.  They might as well have shown us a still. You'll get a better view next time.

Eternidad- I'm glad your appointment went so well!  So very exciting to see your little one flipping around and sucking their thumb with such a strong heartbeat.  I wish you the best of luck with your test results too! Although, I'm sure you hardly need it.

Hi girls, sorry I haven't posted before but we were out of power for 3 days, it was a nitghmare.
My u/s came out great, pretty soon I am goign to post the baby pic, it was a 3 D view, OMG what a cute view of the baby, it looks so real, he/she was moving a lot, wiggling like crazy,  heart beat was 153 good too, saw pretty well both arms, legs, head stomach and bladder, so exciting. Now we are waiting for the test results, they wil be matching my age, baby's neck fluid measured, nose, and my medical hx to give us the result about down syndrome, so hopefully everything will go well.
My next u/s will be by week 20th. We are so excited everyting is going so well.

I am happy to hear everyone's baby is growing and sucking their thumb nicely, good job everyone.

Hello Everyone!!

Here is an update on my OB appointment today. Everything went well. Best part was I heard my baby's heart beat on the doppler, it was 164BPM. What an amazing feeling that was. I will have my u/s on Jan 13th and another one( the Doc call it the big one) when I am in my 18th week.

Anya- I am happy to hear about your u/s. Lucky you..you got to see your baby today. I have to wait for two more weeks. Dont worry about not gaining weight, you will start gaining soon.

Zuz- Good luck on your appointment tomorrow. Keep us posted. 13 weeks tomorrow..:) I hope you feel better. Take care.

Dreamgirl- Dont worry about not seeing baby moving. You will be seeing it soon in your next  u/s. You watch on the CD nonstop.

Eternidad- How are you doing?
