Hey everyone!
Thank you for all of the kind words.  I really appreciate it!  I feel alot better - this is a marathon, right?!   I also went to accupuncture, which really relieved my stress.

I will try and touch base tomorrow.

Thank you Mommyin09 for the new thread.

Vortex:  Beautiful pics.

Candie:  Be patient in the TWW - I will send karma.  This could be it.

Michelle - I hope all is well.

Unlaced:  I am sorry to hear DH is deploying sooner - will send my kind thoughts.

Leighanne: I am so happy you are making these milestones.

FYI - A friend told me about St. Gerard - the patron saint for mothers.  If it helps, you can google his name and come up with a couple of prayers.

To all the other ladies - I am sorry if I missed anything.  Have a good Friday!  Talk to you tomorrow.

PS Stacey - Congratulations on the two follies.  I know it is not as many as you wanted - BUT, it only takes one.  Maybe we can send the swimmers directions?  ;-)

Arlotheslug:  I'm glad you're feeling relaxed, having done the acupuncture!  Best wishes tomorrow :)  We'll all be hoping & praying for good news!  Thanks for the info on St.Gerard.  A friend had mentioned him to me, too, a while back. I just looked him up, thanks to your reminder.  Very interesting ! :)

unlaced:  I'm sorry about dh deploying so soon!  I hope you're feeling better :)  Take care !

Stacey:  It's true we all hope for lots of follies, but you do only need one & quality is better than quantity; right!?  :)  Best wishes !!!

Candie:  Thanks :)  Whenever I did happen to O, I think I covered my bases & if not, I've got a plan in mind for next time.  So, I'll be okay !

Good morning!

Mommyin09- Thanks for starting the new thread! It's nice when a new thread is started, but we'll fill it up quick! We always do!!! :)

Stacey- Congrats on the 2 follies! Are they both on one side, or do you have one on each side? ( Sorry, didn't find the other thread to find out!) Mommyin09 is right, it's not about quantity, it's about quality...  Good luck to you this cycle!

I'll check in later girls! Have a great friday!!!

Good morning everyone!  Thanks mommyin09 for the new thread, it's so much quicker to open.

Well, I hate to say it but it looks like it's over for me this time.  I was feeling perfectly fine and my temps were staying up (even still up this morning), but I think AF is starting and my typical cramps are starting to get pretty bad.  :"(

Unlaced - So sorry for what you have been through, and now DH has to leave earlier than expected.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Take care and we will pray for his safe return.

Arlotheslug - Glad to hear that the accupuncture made you feel better.  I hope your appt goes well today.  Thanks for the note and kind words, hopefully we have better luck next time.  And, as for the weekend....  HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!   :)  (Wish I could say the same about Pitt, but gotta stay true to my Lions)
Oh, and thanks for sharing the info on St. Gerard.  I found a lot of beautiful prayers to him a while back and try to pray to him often.

Luvkayln - Thanks for checking in.  Hope you have a great Friday too!

Candie - So sorry!!!  Are you sure???  Hopefullly it is not af.  Are your temps still up?

Arlotheslug - Glad you are feeling better and that you are taking a lazy day with dh.  I look forward to getting an update from your appt!  Fingers crossed for you.

Mommyin09 & Luvkayln - thanks for your positive words as always.  You are right...quality not quanitity!!

Unlaced - I'll have to go back and read your post but it sounds like dh is being deployed? That has got to be tough.  My thoughts are with you and I also pray for his safe return soon.

Michelle - How are you?  I belive your IUI is Monday?  Have you had any ultrasounds?

I had my ultrasound this morning and they are actually 2 nice follies.  I was worried that the small one wouldn't mature fast enough and that I would only have one!  But, I now have a 20 and a 21 so that is ok...both on my left side.  I had my HCG shot this morning and have IUI Sat & Sun.

I'll check in a little later!  Happy Friday all and SSBD!

Stacey:  Wow, your follies are the perfect size ! Congrats & best wishes for your IUIs this weekend!!!

Arlotheslug:  I hope you have good news...  waiting patiently, sending karma... :)

luvkayln:  You're getting closer to O.  I hope your work schedule slows down a bit :)

Mamatina:  Any sign of AF?

TGIF & Have a great weekend !!!

Stacey and mommyin09 - Thanks for your hope and good wishes, but it's definitely getting worse.

Stacey - That is great news about your follies!  Having two that are such good sizes should really give you great odds.  Good luck with your IUI's.  I am so excited for you!

mommyin09 - TGIF indeed!!

To all of you:

OK, I have a question.  Of course now that AF showed up there's nothing left to do but look ahead to next cycle.  It looks like I should O around the 15th or 16th and guess what - DH is scheduled to have his wisdom teeth out on the 13th.  What great timing!  (can you sense my sarcasm...)   :)  Anyway, he's concerned that the anesthesia is going to affect his little swimmers, so I wanted to see if any of you have ever heard anything about that.  He won't be under long at all, so I'm hoping it won't matter, but just thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts.  Thanks, you're the best!

Well,
The good news is that I can have a drink tonight ;-)  and the bruises on my stomach may heal.

The bad news, apparently the supression drug really supressed me - they did not expect this given all my prior bloodwork.  The cycle is a bust and I will be trying again for a November cycle where they will put me on a new regimen.  I really did expect it going into the office today, but am really down.

Of course, I will pick myself back up again.  DH and I are doing whatever we want today and well, I can have a drink tonight.  I have two follies on the right side - too small and not enough - will still bd though ;-)

Happy Friday everyone.  Stacey good luck!  Candie, I am sorry about AF.  I have not heard anything about the anesthesia affecting swimmers - but I would check with your Dr - b/c I know drinking can.  FYI, the swimmers DH has essentially grew 3 mos ago, so it may not be an issue.  I am certain your RE would know.

Mommyin09, how are you?

Candie: Sorry about AF ! :(  As far as dh having his wisdom teeth pulled, I agree.  I would ask your doc 'cause I haven't heard that question come up before.  Funny how there's always something new to think about, huh?!  You know what I have heard is a couple of women on this site who got pregnant shortly after having major dental work done... maybe it works both ways.  Positive thinking; right!?

Arlotheslug:  I'm really sorry to hear that it didn't work out this time :(  It's really great that you're being closely monitored, though.  I'm sure that once your doctor tweaks "this" or "that", you'll be announcing your BFP !!!  Enjoy your drink with dh.  Tomorrow is another day :)  Just curious, how does dh drinking affect his swimmers?  My dh & I don't cut back on drinking wine till I'm in the tww.  It's in the back of my head that that is our problem, but who knows?!  I have my consultation with the fertility doc in 3 weeks, so I will defnitely bring that up.  I'm doing good.  I finally conceded to fertility friend's interpretation of my chart & so I'm 7 dpo... although I honestly don't believe it!  I just wanted to be a "dpo"!  :)  Anyway, it's just a wait & see at this point.  Have a great weekend & take care !!!

Stacey:  Best wishes tomorrow & Sunday !!!

Mamatina:  Still no AF? :(

hey ladies,

sorry i am MIA for a day.  i had the most traumatic experience last night.  i had to put my ferret to sleep.  he was 4 days away from being 7 years old but sick.  he already previously had 2 surgeries in his little life.  i am so sad and cried all night.  i almost did not let the doctor do it.  i held the little guy while it was done.  i am still trying to convince myself that it was the best decision.  so obviously i am a wreck right now.

how are you ladies doing?

Leighanne:  I am very sorry about your ferret - i hope today goes better.

Mommyin09 - I hope so.  to be frank, I am not entirely sure how drinking affects the swimmers - it was something Dh's urologist told him and well, I believed it.  I am sure it is not a problem in moderation.  It was funny last night - I am such a lightweight - one beer and one glass of wine!  ;-)  I am happy that you will be going to the new doctor, but am sure you are a bit anxious.

Happy saturday.

Leighanne:  I'm SO sorry about your ferret ! :(  I know how heart wrenching it is to lose a beloved pet.  Don't beat yourself up over whether you did the right thing.  I'm sure in your heart you know that you did.  You were there with him, holding him & I'm sure he felt your love.  Take care !

Arlotheslug:  I know what you mean about being a lightweight :)  After being in the tww, one glass of wine affects me so much quicker !  I go to the new doctor on the 26th, so will ask lots of questions.  Like, is it okay to soak in the jacuzzi tub?  I posted that question & got different answers.  So long as it's not really hot, it's just like taking a warm bath.  Do you know if that's okay during the tww or early pregnancy?  I haven't heard that subject come up on this site.  If AF comes next week, I'm going to do another round of clomid before my appt with the fertilitiy doctor.  Now that I've got a plan, I'll be fine either way... Have a great weekend !!!

oh leigh so sorry to hear about ferret.....it is always hard...my sister lost two of her little family members within a few months...one was the very first that they had gotten and the other was actually the one that took her place....they have 6 of them.  am not sure exactly what happened...but it was hard for her, although they passed away at home.

on a positive note, i am now coming onto cd 9 so just a few more days and i should be in the 2ww....lol....am looking forward to this cycle as i believe it is finally regulating.  we will see though.

hugs and luv and ssbd to you all
hopefully we will have tons more bfp's soon

I was wondering if I could join your tread?  This is the first time we are ttc and since I have PCOS I was put on Clomid.  Can some one explain to me what all the short hand means?  Thanks!

Mamatina:  Woo-Hoo!  Hooray for AF ! :)  Now you can move on, that's great news !

Jessie12: Welcome ! :) Is this your first cycle of clomid?  I'll try to list some of the main abbreviations.  Let us know if there's something I've forgotten.
dh = dear husband, dd = dear daughter,  ds = dear son, AF = aunt flow (your period), bd = baby dance (sex), O = ovulation, tww = two week wait (between O & AF).
Welcome & best of luck to you !!!
