Mulitple Miscarriage

SO last January I had a miscarriage and was really only about 5 or six weeks along. Then is September conceived again. Everything looked great!! Healthy heartbeat, extra care, progestrone shots, even the H1N1. I traveled to Cabo during my 10 week. Came back went to my 13 week appt to find our the baby had passed away during week 11 (still in Cabo during that time) ZERO warning signs!! Could traveling out of the country have caused it? Too much sun maybe?? I have an 18 year old and a 14 year old, and had one miscarriage prior to the 14 year old. Am 38 should I give up??

Sorry for your loss;-/  First of all, did they test the fetus?  To rule out genetic problems?  This could be the reason the baby died.  BUT, there could be 2 other reasons why; IK lot's of women would not agree w/me on this, but from PERSONAL experience I think this is possible; Flying in the first trimester, especially when our little eggies are a little older (I'm 40;) is not in my opinion, & in my RE's opinion a good thing.  The radiation we are exposed to, plus the dehydration can take a toll on a new developing fetus. My RE doesn't "ok" flying in the first 12 weeks, & if you MUST, then he has you wear a lap shield to help block out radiation directly to your belly.
I had a missed MC last Feb @ 11 weeks & travelled out of the country between my week 51/2-7 weeks of pg, everything pretty smooth & looking good, & then I missed mc'd;(
I personally feel this is why.........all the testing came back normal etc......plus I had an "intuition" that it wasn't the best thing to do, but we had it planned & paid for & all that, so what do you do?????? & my OB at the time said it was fine, I even told him my concern & he said it was okay...but my RE says nope.

The other thing could be that the HINI has not been tested on pg women, so theres really no way of knowing it is safe, IK some DR's push for it in pg women, where others don't.
@ this point there is nothing you can do;-/ ( I understand) but DON'T give up;o)
& I wish you lot's of luck;)
ps I've gad 3 MC's & 3 healthy babies.....IK how hard it is;(

Well i am 25 and got pregnant with clomid with my 3 year old and then last nov 08 and jan 09 had M/C both at 5 weeks??? I have no idea why exsept i was pretty stressed at that time. I dont think you should give up there are plenty of women of all ages that have M/C and plenty of women over the age of 35 that have successfull pregnancies, i dont see why the trip would have done it but you should probley take it easy cause the docs say that you would be at higher risk. Im not sure though im just going by what i hear from others and read. i just hate to hear women wanting to give up good luck on your journey and lots of baby dust
