After taking birth control for 21-28 days how long after you stopped taking them did your period come, so that you could start your IVF protocol? I started my BC May 4th  and am on a 28 day protocol. How long after I stop taking my BC "June 1" do you think I will get my period.    ALSO CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW MOMMYS AND IVF JOURNEYS

Im taking Enskyce and today is my first day taking the first pill of a new pack since I am only taking the active pills. Thanks so much for the info!

Oh my that wasn't long after you stopped taking them! I just started my 2nd pack of birth control pills since I am only taking the active ones. I think this is my last week taking the active pills and then I will be off of them next week. Also since taking them I've cramped every single day...ugh...lol Thanks so much for the info and yes I pray that we both and all of us have a very successful round!

Just wanted to let you know that it was four days after the last bcp this time too.  I just finished my 4th day of injections and next appointment is Tues.  It seems to be moving very quickly.

It will vary from person to person!  I actually got my period while on bcp's and had to start over in the next cycle.  The next time around, they adjusted the timing of when I was to start the IVF meds based on my short cycle.

If your on microgynon usually wen you have taken the strip for the month you usually come on 4-5 days after you finish them

I am currently on bcp's as well.  I've got 3 more to take.  My nurse coordinator looked up to see how long it took me last time and I got AF 4 days after stopping.  I'll let you know how long it takes this time too.  The last time I did this was 2011 so it's been a while.  I'll be praying tonight that we are both successful with this round!
