OHHS, HCG and HPT
Hello to all,
This is my first post. My story: I was on Gonal F and menopur. I am 37, 2 ovaries, one tube, endo. My doctor retrieved 23 eggs At first he wanted me to cancel, he said I wasnt responding. He had trouble seeing my eggs. I was surprise to have that many eggs. 12 matured, 3 frosties and 3 back in on 4 day (2 early blast and 1 molura). I had a bit of pain day 2 after retreival, then it was gone. I also had a bit of pain and bloated after transfer. Now is all back to normal. I had a booster HCG shot 1500 4 1/2 days ago. No OHSS, small pains in my uterus and ovaries and a very faint positive from HPT. I'm thinking is the HCG from the shot. Has anybody had that many eggs and no OHSS and when should I test. I want to be prepared for that phone call (blood results) thank you all.

Trigger can last in your system for up to 10 days. I normally test the trigger out and then keep testing till beta. That is how I found I had a chemical last IVF. I have had 20-22 eggs each IVF cycle without ever having OHSS. I know this dreaded tww plays tricks on you but keep thinking positive my dear.

I do think that the trigger shot is the cause of the hpt+... it usually takes 7 days to get out of ur system. I pray that u get your bfp.
