Hi ...

I did Ovidrel, and then had my first IUI about 10 hours later, and a second IUI the following day.  The IUI was painful, but round #2 was so  much worse.  My pain was a great deal like the pain you felt - cramping, can't stand up straight, etc.  It was so bad, I felt like I was going to pass out - the color flushed out of my face - I had to close my office door and lay my head on my desk and wait for the aspirin I took to kick in.  They asked that I avoid aspirin but I simply could not ... It took the edge off but it was there!
I agree, its ovulation - in addition to the procedure that follows after, the cath is invasive to our female organs.  Hang in there, it will pass!!

It is normal to feel cramping and swelling around the injection site.  I acually feel really crampy and sore the day after taking the shot.

I have had pain in the lower abdomen after ovidrel, I think it is the ovulation happening?  It usually goes away after a couple of days.

I did have bad cramping the day after ovidrel the times that I had multiple folls. It only lasted for a day. Hopefully you will feel better soon. Good luck!
