Prometrium after IUI

Hi everyone, I have a question to those who use Prometrium pills after IUI.
It is my 2dpiui and I started to take prometrium two times a day starting yesterday. I have noticed that my color of urine is different now, its bright yellow...Did this happen to anybody else who takes Prometrium? I think it is because of it, I can't think of anything else though.

Anya, I used 200mg once a day at nightime when I did IUI with injectibles, but now I am in the middle of my first and hopefully last IVF cycle, and i am taking them twice a day.

I believe it is an insurance policy on a pregnancy, it helps to sustain rather than make you pregnant.  I could be wrong :-)

I am taking also 2 times a day, and yes my urine color is more yellow and concentrated, also at first i would get light headed from the  medicine also, so i think what you have is normal due to medicine.

Hi, Thanks Alibongo. I am not constipated just the color of my urine is more concentrated , that's all. Did it help you get preggy?

Bny807 - I have no side effects except my urine is more concentrated. Also, I believe I take 200 mg morning and evening vaginally. I think it is better to do it twice a day. But ask your RE first!

I haven't used prometrium yet, but am scheduled to after my IUI next week.  How many mg's are yall on?  I think i'm scheduled to take  200mg vag suppository at bedtime, sounds like most people are on more than that, should i ask to do it twice a day>???  Did yall have any side effects from it? I understand that prometrium can make you a little constipated, so it may make your urine more concentrated ( the yellow capsule cover may not help either :-) ). I was advised to hydrate and eat more fruits and veggies.
