The progesterone will keep your period from coming. I have been on it several times now. Once I get a negative beta, I stop taking the suppositories & 5 days later my period will start. It's tough because you get your hopes up. :(
Oh no!!!! I am on my TTW and I am using Endometrin (prgesterone inserts). That just ***** the life out of me to know that if i'm late, it might be because of the progesterone and not pregnancy. :-(
Yes, prometrium will delay your period as long as you are taking it. I also found that I ovulated earlier the next cycle, like my body wanted to stay on track. The side effects were hard on me.
Tjimenez10- Enodometrin is much better, just started taking it back in May instead of Prometrium. A much better product for me with a lot less side effects. It did delay my cycle recently and once I got a negative BETA, I stopped taking it and 24 hours later my period started. I am now on cd 4 and will ovulate sometime after cd 10 is my guess!
Sending baby dust to all,

Hi there. I was on Prometrium this past cycle and I thought that it was going to delay my period. However, my AF still came on the day it was supposed to while I was on Prometrium. I took it for one more day but I suppose my AF had its own mind and still continued so I stopped at CD2 when I tested BFN. Guess it differs for each one of us.
