Oh and at least you got something to help with your cyst my RE is making me wait a month to see if it goes away...and if its still there he said he will just go in and drain it..It ***** to have to wait..
Hi,
I dont see why not taking lupron would affect you. I know there are alot of different protocols the doctors use for IVF. My 1st IVF I wasnt on birth control but this cycle I am. My RE says that the lupron supresses your estrogen...I took lupron last time and a pretty small dose along with follistem and menapur and I didnt have enough eggs..RE thinks the lupron mightve been the cause of that so now he changed my protocol to higher doses of follistem and menapur and instead of regular lupron im taking micro lupron...On my 1st try I only had 4 good follies and my RE said it was my choice if I still wanted to go thru with IVF but he didnt recommend it.. My RE doesnt like to do IVF unless you at least have 7 follies...so we didnt...which is what you can do..see how you respond to the meds and if your not responding well dont go thru with it and the only expense you will have to have when you try IVF again will be the meds..(check with your clinic first) but Im sure thats how it is since the major cost of IVF is them making the embies..thats just a thought..Hope some of this was helpful, I know how frustrating this can be..Good luck to you and keep me posted..
