Okay, so no O apparently and Q about cervix during O...?........and TMI warning

Okay, so here's the deal...I took an OPK this past Thursday and I thought it was +, but I guess I missed where it said on the directions that if the test line is lighter than the control line then it is negative.... So, no O. I bought Clear Blue Easy Digital OPK's where there is no guess work involved and still no O :( I am CD 14... My last cycle (clomid cycle) was 30 days. On Friday when we came home I took another OPK and it was neg - but  when I had wiped I had a bunch of stretchy clear CM on the toilet paper. Any other time I went to the bathroom that day/night I didn't see any. Well, yesterday and today I decided to see if there was any EWCM in there - so I checked and not really stringy yesterday but a bit on the white side. Today though is stringy again and it's clear and some is also white.... So I don't know what the heck is going on!! I guess it's a good thing I haven't O'd since DH is still laid up with his leg - gives him another day of healing time!!!

About the cervical postitioning (is that right? lol!!) I thought I read on somewhere maybe here that you can feel your cervix soften around the time of O or something of that sort. I never tried to find it... but now I have when I checked for CM.... So if someone could help me with this that would be great!!!

Anyways thanks in advance ladies! It's much appreciated!!!

I have always heard "SLOW" (soft, low, open, wet) - but who knows :) I read it in "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni W-something or other :) But my cervix is usually medium or high when I O...hope this helps

Hi dnikki! You're right, right before ovulation, the cervix will be higher and softer than in the rest of your cycle. It usually corresponds with getting stretchy CM :-)

I'm sorry you haven't been able to detect your surge yet. Hopefully it will wait until your DH is feeling a little better after the operation.

Best of luck!
