Round 2 of Clomid 50mg

Hi Ladies-

I am about to turn 30 in Sept, which will mark one year for us TTC. I am so glad that I found this Forum. I read different ones all of the time to try to get some idea as to what different things I can expect.

You all seem so helpful to each other and supportive.

I am on my 2nd round of Clomid, CD 5-9. I noticed that some women are told different dates from CD 1-5 or CH 3-7. I guess different Dr.s try different ways to help us.

I just wanted to say that all of you are very inspiring. There are so many scary things that can happen with all of this, but the reward would be worth every bump in this road.

Just took my last pill today...

I will start the OPK Monday and see what happens. I ovulated last time (1st round) according to the predictor.

We'll see, I am hopeful! I think it makes it easier for me because I can come to a forum like this and everyone understands EXACTLY how you are feeling. It can be hard to discuss with a friend who gets pregnant just standing next to a man...LOL

I think what you're feeling is normal. I've been TTC for over a year now and I have good and bad days. The bad days happen when my cycle come. I will start clomid again tomorrow so maybe this month it will happen.

My birthday is this month jun 26 I hope I get the best  gift ever Im wishing for a miracle I'll know by then if it worked for me :)

Welcome to MH :) I was placed on 50mg of clomid earlier this year. I took my on CD5-9 and did four rounds of clomid and two IUI. However, it dit not work for me :( I had really crazy side effectds mood swings, sweats, gained weight and my boobies were really tender.  I tried accupunture and it helped with side effects.
This month I'm going to do 50mg clomid with Menopur injections and IUI :) I hope this mix works - take that back IT WILL WORK (Staying positive) and I wish you ALL the best on Clomid and that you get your Clomid-Baby!

I was a little nervous too...but I didn't have any side effects, except for maybe an extra pound or two of weight. But once I stopped, it goes away.

I just hope it will be positive this time. I just have to keep telling myself that if it is meant to be it will be. As corny as that sounds.

It does make it harder since everyone around me has just had a baby or is pregnant and expecting later this year. I have to put my emotions in check!!

I know sounds horrible, but it's honest.

How many times have you tried Clomid? or was that your first time?

Thanks for the positive post. I've been trying for about a year and a half. This past cycle we tried clomid days 3-7 and still no baby. Started my cycle today which STINKS! However, I try not to get too down about it and just move on. Positive thinking definitely helps me get through it.
