Should I ask for an injection to thicken my lining before my first IUI?

Hi ladies!  Quick question....should I call my RE and ask the nurse about giving me an injection to thicken the lining of my uterus?  I have been taking Clomid for two months.  Last month I took 50 mg a day cd 3-7 and this month I took 100 mg a day on cd 3-7 again.  I am going for my follicle check on day 12 (friday) and they said IUI will be either Sunday or Monday.  ( we are using a trigger shot for this also)  I just want to cover all my basis'.  Should I ask for a shot to thicken my lining?  What are your thoughts?  I want this to WORK on the first try so I am going to do all I can to make it work....and lets face it, sometimes we have to take our treatment in our own hands ...... SSBD TO ALL!

I would just wait and see what your lining measures at the ultrasound. If it's thin, you could ask for some meds to thicken it, but it might not even be an issue :-)

Good luck!
