FRER - anyone know about these?

So... I had a m/c in the beginning of march and began trying straight away.  Using OPK detected LH surge around March 20th.  I guess that makes me about 11 dpo.  Took a FRER test with fmu and there may be a very, very faint line ..... yesterday was def. BFN.  Do these tests have evap lines?  Is it possible that it is just to early for me to test?  I have been having some symptoms.  Cramping, sore underarms and sore boobs, extreme exhaustion between 12 and 2 everyday (have to shut my eyes for 20 mins), stuffy nose, extremely emotional - crying over stupid things, and my sense of smell seems to have increased like crazy!!  What do you think?  Oh, I am on prometrium 100mg 2x a day - 4 m/c due to low progesterone ... if I am not preggers will the prometrium screw with AF?  Should I assume neg or retest?

Hope the spotting doesn't turn to AF.  My BFP with FRER was 10dpo.  You could have also caught a very early pregnancy.  I hope it sticks for you.

I got a BFP (VERY FAINT) with an HCG of 3.99! I peed right before I went to my RE for beta and it came back at 3.99. And the HCG rose like it was supposed to. I won't use anything else. I also have never had a evap line with them. So, good luck  sounds like a BFP to me!!!!

I have used literally hundreds of them and NEVER an evap. On the other hand, they are also known for light lines. But, they are the most sensitive test on the market. Some women have gotten bfps with Hcg as low as 6!!!

If it has color on an FRER, my vote is BFP!!!!!!!

Hi. I got a faint but visible line on a FRER test at 12 dpo. 11 dpo was negative, but at 12 dpo the line was very visible. I'm sorry your DH doesn't get it. That sucks. I really really hope this is it for you! Please keep us posted and let us know how it goes!

Ya gotta give us a chance to answer honey! :o)

I've never gotten an evaporation line with them (always depressingly certain that it's negative!) The only thing I have witnessed with them is that when the pee is first getting sucked across, I see a line when it goes over the result line, and then disappears.  I know you're only supposed to read them in the time alloted, then disregard them in case of an evaporation line.  An evaporation line would only come in after the test was expired.  If you saw the line in the first couple of minutes and it stayed - congrats!  Could be the real deal!  If not, I wouldn't get discouraged because it sounds to me at 11 dpo it's still WAY too early to test.  Just because they say it can detect it that early, doesn't mean it will happen.  It primarily depends on how soon you implanted.  That could be as late as 12 dpo, but from the sounds of it, if  you think you're having symptoms, it could've been sooner.  If it's any consolation, I've read plenty of women on this forum and a friend of mine as well that had negative HPT's for literally weeks after af was due, and ended up with healthy pregnancies!  Hang in there - good luck!
