Have you seen a doctor to find out what is causing your irregular cycles? I have PCOS and that caused my cyllcles to be irregular. I was given medication to try to regulate my hormones so that I'll get more regular cycles and it helped me a lot. I hope this helps.
I agree with msteri...since it's been more than a year, AND you have irregular cycles, it's time to see a specialist and have some tests done. With only 2-3 periods a year, you really only ovulate 2-3 times, as well (maybe less), so your chances are much lower than someone who ovulates every month. A doctor can do some testing and find out what is causing this, and based on the findings, either correct the underlying issue or prescribe ovulation inducing medication. Best of luck with everything!
I recommend you see a reproductive Endocrinologist. My gynecologist put me on clomid after we tried for a year and didn't bother trying to figure out WHY we weren't getting pregnant...it only wasted more time. i would recommend you go straight to the experts=)
thank you guys for youre suggestions we really appreciate it. i will look into what you guys recommended.
