Is there hope for me ?
I have found out alot about my issues over the years but untill now was to overweight to have IVF .I have an appointment at my local hospital in april for the 1 chance that they offer .Does anyone know if it ok to move areas and recieve the other 2 chances that other areas offer ?
I had an ectopic pregnancy back in 2004 they took out my right tube ,I didnt know my other tube was damaged untill afew years ago , I recently went to a private clinic in hope to donate eggs in return for IVF, After my internal scan I was told my right ovary is hidden behind my uterus and it is to dangerous to retrieve eggs from incase it ruptured my womb, bowel or bladder ! My other ovary is in the right place but only 3 stem cells could be seen , which means they can only ever retrieve 3 eggs. This ofcourse is better the 1 but I am unable to do egg donation in return for IVF. I have been told my local nhs is an 18 month wait .I really hope when i go for the april appointment they will have better news for me I am 35 next month I dont feel I have time on my side With all my problems I dont feel I have much hope .Has anyone else ever moved areas for more chances? Has anyone out there been or is going through the same as me? does anyone know if I still have a good chance ? help !!

It really sounds to me that you are having a hard time...bless your heart. I'm not going to say I know how you feel because everyone handles their situation differently. I will say this; don't give up. Have a little faith. Nothing is too hard for God. Let's look at the positives here, you have a healthy uterus and ovaries. You may have to go through a little more work to retrieve your eggs, but it's possible. You are 35, that is still a great age to still bare children. Don't pay attention to the statistics or studies on age and childbirth, we are all different. We have been created to be fruitful and multiply. So it will take some time, but we have to practice patience. I don't know your weight at all, but what you are going through should be enough to motivate you to do what you need to do to be at a healthy weight! Do this for yourself and most of all, your baby!!! I'm in that category where I can't get an IVF if I wanted to, but that motivated me to do what I needed to do to receive my miracle. Don't give up hope! With a little work, you will get your pride and joy!
I just called my local hospital to see if my appointment can be any earlier then april.....Its now next wednesday instead !! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT !!! Lets hope they hurry it all along for me .....:)
I agree I need to try and push things to hurry them along , I really feel The time is right for me , thankyou for your nice words. I do hope i get my miracle one day soon xx
Anita - It sounds like a long wait to get next appointment in April, as you are turning 35, its time you should make steps faster and get checked, even with 3 follicles, you might get 3 eggs and might be a success, there are so many cases where women had only one active ovary, you might be lucky with your 3 follicles, i wish you good luck, also wish the treatment moves faster and make you happy. good luck hun.
Thank you so much for your lovely reply. You have made me feel more positive about things, I am a fighter but can't help but get down about it all sometimes. My BMI is now at 28 which is good but I need this ball to start rolling now, Its been around 10 years of trying and waiting now with one thing or another . I will listen to you and try to practice patience a little longer :). I know it won't be easy but I am willing to do what it takes to get our miracle.........Sprinkle some of that miracledust my way please xxx
