To fall pregnant at 43 yrs going on 44 yrs, is it possible?

I am 43 and have had two rounds of IVF.  Last August on day 2 of men. cycle, my FSH level - 9 mlU/ml and
LH - 5 mlU/ml but elevated prolactin - 20 ng/ml with low estradiol - 18 pg/ml and low progesterone - 0.37 ng/ml.  Both x, all embryos transferred were grade 1.  Hospitals said great level of FSH for age.  After 2nd round, I read (rather belatedly) that not suppose to drink coffee after ET or Org.  I was drinking about 6 machine coffees/day plus I had Org. (self).  My husband sperm motility is low at 3%.  I was reading about Chinese medicine and was wondering if both husband & I took the herbs (me to rebalance the hormones) and acupuncture whether we would be more successful.   Or is it waste of money and should just accept to be childless?  Also quite highly strung and rather apprehensive about prenancy in the over 40s.  Thank you for your help.

There are a whole bunch of ladies on this forum over 40 and ttc.  Some are doing it naturally, some are doing IUI's and IVF's, and others are doing donor eggs or embryos.  I don't think you should be apprehensive about being pregnant in your 40's, I think you just need to decide if you are ready to get back on the rollercoaster : )
Having said that, I see you have had to cycle's of IVF, and are considering a 3rd.  I say if you have the $ and want to do it ... GO For It!!!   If you want a higher success rate, you may want to consider donor eggs, or embryos.

Bottom line, I don't think Anyone who wants a family should go childess... there are just tooooo many options for that! : )
