After 6 IUIs now they want to schedule a laparoscopy?

So I just got back from my doctor and I am kinda upset by this whole situation. I've had all my testing come back normal and even had an HSG and my tubes were clear. Well after 6 IUIs they decided that maybe I should have a laparoscopy?! What really sucks about the whole situation is that I already had to take this month off of ttc because of wanting to try something new and now I have to take next month off because I have to have this surgery and everything. I am really scared that I have endo. I mean after 6 IUIs there has to be something wrong right? So now I won't be back to ttc until the beginning of June. I'm not a very happy ttcer right now..not at all. I am scared because I hate getting my belly button touched and now they are putting a needle threw it!?!?!?! AHHH!

the point is - it will probably help you get pregnant if there is something wrong because they'll fix it.  Don't worry - you're gettin there and it'll happen! :o)

The thing with me is that I can't just one day happen to get pregnant..I need to do IUIs because my husband had a vasectomy....there's no forgetting about it. Either we have to do it or it won't happen. I really hope nothing is wrong..but then again that'd ease my worries as to why I can't get pregnant!

My friend had a laparoscopy and it showed nothing. Everything was good. It just happened to take her 2 years to conceive and an adoption from China. I swear what they say is true....stop thinking about it or adopt and you get pregnant!!! I know easier said than done.  I am going through the same as you... I am onto iui #3.
