What are my chances

12 years ago I had a tubal ligation. My doctor said I was so fertil that in the matter of five years i would have a very high percentage of getting pregnant again. Seven years after the five years past I am wondering if what he said was true and if so how can I increase my chances for pregnancy? I am willing to do cartwheels if necessary. I want to have another child. I have considered both IVF and Tubal Reversal...But truth be told i do not have the economical resources.

I've never heard of that kind of logic frankly.  I had a tubal ligation 15 years ago & had to undergo IVF in order to get pregnant.  I was pretty fertile in my younger years too but I've never heard a doctor say that.

you would need a tubal reversal to become pregnant, i had a reversal 4 years ago and hae gotten pregnant twice. 1 ended in an eptopic and one in a miscarriage but i know its possible, but i dont beleive that a doctor told you with your tubes tied you could still get pregnant that is the reason you get them tied so you dont...my suggestion see another doctor.

have you checked with insurance to see if they pay for the reversal? mine did

Hmmm! I've never heard that before. I would think that if your tubes are tied, you would need to get a reversal before you could get pregnant again. Not sure why your doctor would say that... Could you maybe set up an appointment with him and ask?
