What is the best way to start menstrual cycle again after secondary amenorrhea?

Last period was september 5th 2017 and i had slight brown spotting 4 days ago like when my period first starts but it never came. Gynecologist told me to take 100mg progesterone for 10 days then my period should start again. Then when it does take letrozole 2.5mg on cycle days 3-7. My question is will this help regulate my cycles so i can conceive? I had a 28 day progesterone test done and it waz 1.5 so super low. Im stumped and worried.

ugh, that's so hard.  Do as your doctor states and hope that it's enough to get you going.  fingers crossed.  For some women it is and for others, they have to repeat the process.  Let us know how it goes, hon!
