When does OHSS normally start?

Does anyone know when does ohss typically start? I'm now 8dp3dt and I'm worried that I may get ohss if I am pregnant. I was bloated the whole of last week but after ultrasounds and blood tests they said it's not ohss but gastric. I've been feeling slightly better these 2 days but today I started having mild cramps when I pee and some lower backache. I'm so worried that I may still get ohss if I'm pregnant. When does ohss usually start?

Congrats on your BFP! Thanks so much for sharing and for your encouragement. I had 23 follies and 8 eggs. I also have pcos that's why they told me to keep monitoring for sudden weight gain. I've been feeling quite paranoid actually.

Who is to say really when OHSS normally starts...... I thot it would be obvious from ER but in my case I was about 8dp2dt when I suddenly had very bloated tummy, it was all the way to my chest, I couldnt walk straight, I was nauseous, throw up a couple of times, had no appetite and my pee was dark.....all symptoms of a mild case of OHSS. When my dh called the dr and told him, he said it was and I was encouraged to take it easy. It turned out my IVF was a success and we got a BFP! :)) I took it easy and gradually i got my appetite back, my bloated tummy went down, I started walking normally and I can tell you I am doing ok.
Your symptoms dont sound like you have OHSS and getting pregnant is not what makes you have OHSS but overstimulation of the ovaries from stimming.
I'm sure you dont have OHSS and I wish you a BFP!!!
