anyone 22 and going or gone through ivf

Hey im 22 my husbands 38 we are going through ivf just took my trigger shot tonight go for egg retrieval Tuesday morning just scared about the whole thing need some advice on the pain and stuff im scared about ohss

Hey thanks I got through it 22 eggs 15 mature and icsi was done 4 made it to day 5 and only one was good enough we had it put in thismorning at 10am fingers are crossed hoping for the best and congrats! ......I had a mild case of ohss was my first day feeling half like myself today and im told that my symptoms can come back of pregnant. But like u said its all with it thanks for the reply and hello to the 2ww lol its a nightmare and its only day one lol I think my husbands more stressed than me!

I'm not 22 (in fact I'm 10 years older than you!), but have done IVF twice.  Although it was all very exciting for me and I didn't have a lot of nerves.  But I did get OHSS the first time around (after my egg retrieval) and that cycle didnt' work.  But our frozen cycle DID work and now I'm 24 weeks pregnant!  The egg retrieval process isn't bad at all.  They will sedate you for it and you don't feel/remember a thing.  And just remember that very few women actually hyperstim, so your chances of that are pretty slim.  And even if you do, you will get through it.  Trust me!  It's all worth it in the end.  Best of luck to you and lots of baby dust!!
