First beta after IVF and was only 10???

I posted this on another forum, but is there ANY success stories out there?  My RE thinks it will end up a miscarriage.  I had my ET on 7/22 and my beta was 8/3.  I am soooo sad and crying hysterical since yesterday...is there any hope?

Hi!  I have not really been on the computer much.  My level went down to 5.  I have to go back tomorrow and hopefully it will be 0, otherwise I guess my RE has to end it.

It has been one of the hardest weeks for me ever.

I am just wondering how you did at your second beta. The examples of good news from the other repliers are certainly a boost - in this infertility racket you just never know what is going to happen. I hope you go good news, but if not please feel free to write me - I have been down pretty much every IF road. (((((((()))))))))))

Thanks for that news.  I go this morning for my 2nd beta.  I am so sick over this.  I have read some good reports though on others who have started low then skyrocketed with the numbers.

I just hate the feeling of "not knowing".  I thought my hardest battle would be IVF, never ever did I think of miscarriage.

Life really is tough.  Thank you eveyone who posted and cheering me up!

my beta started at 33 and the warned me it was really low they wanted atleast 50 but my next test was 3 days later and was 99 and my next test is in the morning. dont give up every baby started with a number and most dont know what it was we just are monitored so close we know more than we should some times!!!!!

I go for my next beta tomorrow (wed.)  My eyes are so swollen and puffy from crying non-stop.  I have been praying and praying.  I just hope to God it works.  Things just don't seem to be in my favor.

Hi.  My beta started at 20 and the last beta they took was over 27 thousand.  I'm 7wks preggo now.  Trust God, your number have to start somewhere. They where worried at first but mine double every other day.

When do you go for your next beta?

I wish I had some words to help you feel better, but that is a low number, more of a chemical pregnancy number. I know how hard this is and you should continue to grieve.
