as anyone had positive pregnancy test after provera

Has anyone had positive pregnancy test after taking provera? Is it possible I am pregnant or are those just my hormones playing trick? I had inv in September, then i had d&c 7 weeks ago after miscarriage

That's great news!!! Congratulations!

Basically what happened was that you ovulated on your own before starting the provera. After a miscarriage, you won't get your period again until after your body ovulates, and if you happen to conceive at that time, you'll get pregnant again without having a period. And provera is basically just a progesterone supplement anyway, which is what your body produces naturally when pregnant.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy nine months!

I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Did your doctor prescribe provera to get your cycles back on track? If so, it's usually because you didn't ovulate, and therefore needed provera to help "kick-start" your cycles again (and if so, you wouldn't be pregnant). BUT there is also a chance that you did in fact ovulate on your own BEFORE taking the provera, and if so, then yes, you could be pregnant. Did you finish your provera already?
