As far as not sleeping let me re phrase that sleeping on and off all the time. Does this sound normal. I'm due to up it again on sunday, i've also noticed very weepy, crying at films which nerver happens. I dont even know what i'm taking the metformin for or what it does to do with fertility. My dr says take this i say how much he explains but it never sinks in.. So down atm and dont know why?!

Metformin worked great for me especially taking it while on a low carb diet.  I had poor eggs, which resulted in 2 miscarriages but after taking Metformin and following low carb diet (whole wheat grain, fruit, veggies, etc) during an IVF cycle really helped me get pregnant.  Your body will get use to the medication once your on a steady dose and like kaprovea said take it with a meal.  Good luck with everything.

I would suggest when taking the metformin to take it with a meal.  Hopefully that will make you not as nauseas.  It does take your body a while to get used to the medication.

Well metformin helps in stimulating your ovaries... its really for diabetes but studies have shown that it stimulates your ovaries which means it gives you nice healthy eggs, a lot of the times it is good to take it with clomid but i would deff talk to you dr. about it again so he can explain it better. If you feel he is always rushing you then i would get a diff Dr. Dr's usually don't rush.. but good luck!!!
